Tech Night Tuesday 1/31, 7pm @ Salem United Methodist Church – Regular meeting will NOT be held, but this sprovides an optional opportunity to have your scout’s derby car inspected by the Derby team.

Friday 2/3, 6:00 pm @ Springhill Elementary Gymnasium – Race Setup.

Saturday 2/4, @ Springhill Elementary Gymnasium – Race Day check in. Check-in times will be conducted by Den as follows:

                1pm – Webelos 1 & 2

                1:10pm – Bear

                1:30pm – Wolf

                1:50pm – Tiger & Lion

                2:15pm – Check in Closed

2/4 @ 2:30pm – First Call for the 1st Race

2/4 @ 4:30pm – Award ceremony

2/4 @ 5pm – Clean up

Christmas Party

Date/Time:

Tuesday 12/6/2022.
Food will begin serving at 6:00 pm.
Awards Ceremony and Party will begin at 6:30 pm.
The party will conclude after the present exchange around 8:00 pm.

Online Signup:

This can be completed at anytime. See the steps below.

Step 1: Create a my.scouting.org account or, login to your account if you already have one.

Step 2: Complete the online registration form.

Step 3: Complete the Contact Information form.


How much does Cub Scouts Cost?

One-Time Registration Fee: The cost to register is $80. This money goes directly to the Boy Scouts of America and is due when you complete the registration.

Pack Fundraiser: The Pack will conduct a Popcorn Fundraiser starting in September to raise money to cover the expenses associated with our local Scouting Program. This is an important part of our program, because we use this as an opportunity to teach our boys about working hard to earn money to pay for the things they enjoy doing (i.e. Scouting). For the 2022-2023 year, each scout’s Fundraiser Sales Goal is $625. If you are unable to participate in the fundraiser, you can choose to pay an Opt-Out fee of $200. For Scouts that participate in the fundraiser, but do not meet the Sales Goal, the Opt-Out fee will be reduced based on the amount of popcorn the individual sold.

Uniform and Book Costs: The last expense is the uniform and the book. This cost will vary, but is generally between $50 and $100. The book is about $15. Everything can be purchased at the Scout Shop in Little Rock (3220 Cantrell Rd, Little Rock, AR 72202). eBay is also a good location for purchasing Scout Uniforms at a reduced rate. Uniforms need to be purchased before our Pinewood Derby race in January.

Pack Family Campout (10/21-10/23) – Ross Rhodes Scout Reservation

We are having a family campout on the weekend of 10/21 at Ross Rhodes Scout Reservation on Lake Degray (987 Chestnut Dr, Bismarck, AR 71929). No cost for the campout.

Pack Provided Items:

The Pack will provide a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. All other meals for the weekend should be provided by each family.

The Pack will have a Blackstone Griddle and a 2 Burner Propane Stove available for people to use. Please bring your own Pots, Pans, and Cooking Utensils.
